New house!

About 3 months more and my family can move to a bigger and more comfortable home weeeeeee!!

Actually to be honest, I have no idea on how come I never thought of buying a new house for them before this. It only hit me like the mid of last year when I suddenly got so into researching and surveying and comparing house prices on the internet and driving around Melaka tamans to search for houses for sale =__=

After all the pain and torturing research and meeting up with agents to view houses, we finally decided on one, which my parents fell in love with at first sight. So long story short, our new house is an old house kakaka so funny. No? =.=

We bought the house at a very cheap price (THANK YOUUUU) due to the freehold title and the location of the house - and I personally love the size of the house too coz its neither too huge nor its too small. Well, the price of the house is cheap but the renovation costs a bomb! :S The renovation costs as much as the price of the house =_=

Nevertheless, I think it is worth it! All my life, I have always wanted to provide the best for my family, especially my parents. My mum isn't young anymore, she's 60+ right now. Few years down the road, very soon, she'll turn 70. Whenever I think of that, it scares the hell outta me! Really! 70!! And in 10 years from that age, she'll be 80. That was the age of my grandma! So it really really got me to think that the time they (my parents) have in this world, while they're still strong, is kinda limited. Besides buying LED TV for them, or giving them ang pow during the festive seasons, there weren't really anything else great I did for them. I didn't and cannot afford to bring them travel overseas, I cannot afford to buy them a huge house with big compound nor can I afford to give them monthly allowance to spend. But what I can afford now is to get them a comfortable place to live in. From what I observed over the past few months since the house was bought, I know for sure that they love it... so much! That makes me really really happy although there were so much time and effort involved.

Just pray and hope that everything goes smoothly and I could then say I finally did something great for my parents :D

First and only oversea trip with the family.

Really hoping that I can bring them for a holiday at somewhere great, someday.

Oysters oysters and oysters!!

Supposed to post this up much earlier but I was just too lazy :PP Moreover, read title...nothing much besides oysters! So, nothing interesting unless you like to see oysters.

Went to Holiday Inn for the buffet coz it was Jess's birthday. So we don't need to pay a single cent coz her husband treated everyone... and my job is just to eat alllllll the way even when everyone has stopped eating.

It was a Friday so the food was a lil sucky despite the fact that they have lotsa LOTSA seafood. The main dishes were like what...white rice (??), some vege, some fried prawns, crabs, err curry(?), and the rest I don't even bother to look at it =.=" Everyone went straight to the food except for me, the weird one, went straight to you-know-what, oysters of course!

Oh ya they have this very average tasting noodle too.

I took very little of it coz the waiter was like looking at me as I only attacked the oysters and mussels, so mah pretend go take some mee lar...

Oysters were not that fresh =\

...and I went to take more! Lol.
I even placed some ice in between to keep em fresh.

Seafood teppanyaki.

Not bad, but a lil salty.

The mussels were awesome!! as compared to the cold ones.

Went to take MORE lol! And even asked for tartar sauce coz they only have some other weird sauce which I dare not try.

Clam chowder soup.

Not bad.

Dessert + Mussels salad.

Both sucks.

I only tried the cheese cake.

Went Simply Fish with my bunch of girlfriends!! Huggssss!!

Out Fishing Day 2!

Day 2 fishing at the very same spot.

This time, the wind was sooo strong it nearly blew my hair off my scalp!

Guess what we caught this time?

2 CRABS!!! Got colour 1 sumore!

We didn't bring it back home but threw it back into the sea instead.

And later that evening, my mum, aunty, uncle, and boy boy came all the way there to find for us.


Boy boy was forced to pose for the camera by me =.="


And guess what?? I CAUGHT A BIG FISH!! But damn it I was so exicted I forgot to take a pic of it.. So, no pic of the fish.
How sad!!!!

Exam is OVER!! OVERRRRR!! OMG!!! It's sooo unbelievable!! It's like so fast! One minute I was there, and the other minute I am an unemployed graduate now.. not officially graduated yet thou, still gotta wait for our freaking results!! Still.....it's fking relieved after so many weeks, months, and years of struggling (like real nie =.=")!! I'm the happiest person on earth now!!!

But when come to think of having to do something new, a working and career life of coz, it will just freaked me out. I am SO NOT PREPARED TO WORK!! I have been studying for the past (ermm how old am I now? 18yrs old-5yrs) 13 years out of my 18 years life (shaddap I just wanna feel young) and now I have to change and address myself as a 'career' woman konon-nyer! =______=

Anyway, I just wanna THANKS all the kind-hearted people that wished us lucks for our finals of all finals! Especially Buvy for ur countless wishes, Siew Han, for your weird-looking-elephant-supposedly-thought-to-be-a-car-wiper-good luck charm, and of coz all my loved ones for the encouragement and motivation :) Appreciate all your kind thoughts!!

The day that i did not sleep for 30+ hours... As mentioned earlier, I went to the resort right after the second paper to celebrate mummy's birthday.. So, you can see my fugly face all over here.

Food very bad. Service was good.

But I'd like to assume that because it was a weekday, hence the variety of food wasn't that much.

It was my mummy's 60th birthday, so we did something special for her. I was so busy with exams I did not prepare anything. My sis did all the preparation. I just contributed $$$ haha!

We bought her a new handphone coz her old one can throw in the longkang ad. Can't remember exactly what model was it, but it's a Nokia phone...not that bad.

My sis brought my parents pic over to the cake shop and asked them to do that.

Nice eh? We ate our parents.

Taste better if you eat them together with the fruits

Another present we prepared on behalf of my dad is the album below.
Just send 100s of pictures to the photo shop and they'll do a beautiful album for you.
Good quality, not that expensive, and nicely done.
They'll design for you from scrap, just throw the softcopy photos to them!
They did a 10-double-sided pages album including the covers. Not bad eh!


My sis wants to include all my mummy's old picture.
Eh my mum used to be very hot and sexy ok.
